Do you sell firearms directly to the public?
Yes. Buck Arms Co. is a licensed Type 07 Manufacturer and FFL dealer. All firearm sales must comply with federal, state, and local laws. Background checks and/or ATF approvals are required before delivery.
Can I buy a firearm online and have it shipped to you?
Yes. You can purchase from any licensed dealer or online retailer and select Buck Arms Co. as your FFL for the transfer. We’ll contact you once your firearm arrives to schedule pickup and background check.
Do you sell ammunition or accessories?
We carry select ammunition, optics, and accessories. Availability may vary, so contact us with what you are looking for.
What do you charge for firearm transfers?
Standard transfers are $20 per firearm. NFA or special items may have additional fees due to required documentation.
What do I need to bring for a transfer?
A valid government-issued photo ID. The address must match your ID, or you’ll need supplemental documentation.
How long does the background check take?
Most NICS checks are instant, but some may be delayed for up to three business days. We’ll notify you as soon as it’s approved.
Can you engrave my firearm or NFA item?
Yes. We offer laser engraving for firearms, suppressors, SBRs, and more — compliant with ATF marking requirements. If you want it engraved, chances are we can either do it in house or point you to someone else that can.
Do you offer custom logos or personal designs?
Absolutely. You can provide your own vector file (SVG, AI, DXF, or LightBurn file), or we can help design one for you.
Will engraving my slide or receiver affect its legality?
No. Engraving does not change the firearm’s classification. We follow ATF 27 CFR 478.92 marking standards to ensure compliance.
Can you help with suppressors or short-barreled rifles?
Yes. We’re a Class 2 SOT and can assist with Form 1, Form 4, and Form 5 submissions through the ATF eForms system.
Should I set up a gun trust?
A gun trust helps multiple trustees legally possess NFA items and simplifies inheritance. We can guide you through creating one.
Do you offer firearm storage services?
Yes. We provide short-term and long-term storage options for individuals traveling, deploying, or moving.
Firearms are stored in an insured, secured, climate-controlled environment with full inventory tracking.
Do you serialize or manufacture firearms?
Yes. As a licensed Type 07 Manufacturer, we can serialize and manufacture compliant firearms and components in accordance with ATF regulations.
Can you modify or remove existing engravings or markings?
We can modify or refinish slides and barrels, but we will not alter, remove, or obscure required ATF markings on the receiver/frame.
What safety rules should I follow when bringing in a firearm?
Always ensure your firearm is unloaded and in a case when entering the premises. Never bring ammunition inside unless instructed.
How do I send my firearm to you for engraving or gunsmithing?
Contact us first for instructions. You can ship directly from yourself (for repair/custom work) or through another FFL. Include your contact info and return address.
